About Us
Mission Statement
Create an environment that provides residents with a setting that will afford each person the opportunity for healing and socialization.
History
Agape Homes was founded in 1992 by several caring-visionary people who saw far too many children and families without local mental health treatment and support services. In June 2006, Changing Faces assumed Agape Homes and incorporated Changing Faces philosophy and structure into the Agape Homes program.
Throughout the 1990s and into the 21st century, Agape Homes has dedicated itself to being an agency that provides and coordinates a comprehensive menu of community-based and family-focused treatment services for children and families. Agape Home’s philosophy emphasizes a strengths based menu of services including:
- Group Therapy
- Individual Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Family Re-unification
- Parent Support
- Goal Setting
- Life Skills Training
- Transitional Planning
- Independent Living Skills
