About Us

To create an environment that provides residents with a setting that offers each person the opportunity for healing and socialization.

Our History

Changing Faces was founded in 1997 by Adrian Cooks (Founder/Administrator) and Neal LeMaire ( Board Advisor) . The agency was established with a clear mission: to enrich the lives of youth by focusing on transitional programs, substance abuse treatment, and long-term stability.

The founders envisioned a family-based environment—structured, secure, and nurturing—designed to equip each resident with the tools they need for success upon graduation. Importantly, Changing Faces remains a supportive resource for alumni, whenever they may need it.

In June 2006, Changing Faces expanded its impact by assuming operations of Agape Homes, integrating its philosophy and structure into Agape’s programming. In 2021, when group homes transitioned to STRTP (Short-Term Residential Treatment Programs), we expanded our services to provide all our youth with the desired treatment and support they need within our program.
